FANTASY LITERARY FANS ACTIVITIES: COVERAGE OF LITERACY ASPECTS

Abstract


More than 20 years after its first publication, loyal Harry Potter readers and fans are always waiting for the reunion and what will return in the next novel. Cultural phenomena thus affect the reader's social, emotional, and personal relationships. However, not much has delved into how far aspect emotional fandom is, as affinity groups and communities characterized create new opportunities for public writing that take advantage of deep, emotional, and rhetorical relationships among individuals with similar interests and passions—field Observation with the Indo Harry Potter Community on early September, in Jakarta. The initial information about this event was obtained from The Instagram of Indo Harry Potter. The result is that many aspects of literacy are the focus of activities; this contributes positively to implementing literature in the community and improving the spirit of literacy.
